From our first meeting with company representative Darnell, we were extremely impressed with his presentation and professionalism. He was informative, yet not pushy. There was no aggressive sales pitch, just clear terms and an informative explanation.Post-Ian, we requested and received the contact information for about 10 neighbors who re-roofed with Cathedral after Irma and whose roofs had weathered Ian. All reported zero damage and zero leaks. We drove around to look at them and the grout work was clean and color matched to the tile. Other roofers grout jobs were sloppy and not well color matched.Darnell was also quite helpful in liaising with insurance attorneys and adjusters. He helped us navigate the process and get answers from start to finish.The actual reroofing process was completed quickly, in just a few days from start to finish. The worksite was clean and Cathedral was considerate with staging and clean-ups. Replaced roof in 2018, then within 5 year warrantee had a leak but because there was another mild hurricane they invalidated the warrantee saying because another storm was in area, albeit nothing but rain, they couldnt warrantee work. Now 8 years out finding a number of roof channels leaking . Roof repair company is finding that they tarred the channels but didnt replace and properly flash them . As the tar deteriorates with heat and weather it creates failures points for leaking . I would recommend another roofer who has been around for many years and is committed to quality work. The true test is beyond those first few years .Winds in Naples during Ian were documented at 105mph. My street was less than 100 mph. No damage was done to the roof at all. Clear evidence shows that no flashing was installed during replacement, but lots of black tar which deteriorates over the years. Shoddy workmanship!Verified Excellent people to work with.
